Vacheron Constantin

Does Vacheron still source any of their movements from ETA. I know at one time they used a Lemania. Thanks in advance for your help. m

I'm unaware that Vacheron ever sourced movements from ETA.

I just read a post where Vacheron used a Lemania in one of their chronographs. Is that incorrect? Is it safe to say that Vacheron no longer relies upon the swatch group for movements? m

Lemania is owned by Swatch, so is it accurate to say that Vacheron won't be able to source these kits after 2010? When the supply stops, where will they source the chronographs? Perhaps they'll order them already finished? m

But who knows? Maybe VC has some special relations about that? Funny, I wondered the same some days ago... I'm very curious, too, to know what will happen to the Malte Chronos. Best. Nicolas

VC has never used an ETA movement in one of its watches. If you have seen one then the watch is fake. VC still uses the Lemania chronograph caliber in it's manual winding chronographs. It also uses the Piguet 1185 caliber in its automatic chronographs, ad...
