Seems like a nice size for vintage, too. I would love to get a vintage VC!

For it's time period.

What I've learned buying this one is that the vintage market is very complex. Too many nuisances to keep up for me so I'll primarily stay modern from here on out. (2000 and beyond)

But I wish they had more information like where and when the watch was sold, or perhaps even to who (though this may be a privacy issue now-a-days?). A really stellar watch.

But think it would be next to impossible for a watch manufacturer back then to keep these records, it's much easier now. This particular piece is close to 70 years old.

I was looking at this piece and a Patek 2526 in yellow gold as well during the time of purchase and bought this VC over the Patek. Not only was it about 4 times cheaper but I actually liked the look of this VC better. One of the consistency issues back th...

of the movement. This watch houses VC's very first automatic movement that used a rotor..... Also this is what separates Patek's 2526 from this VC. Their movement within that watch was much nicer as you can see in the example below..... ...  

Though not as grand looking as the 2526's movement, it is still remarkable to look at considering the history behind it. Your VC is a beautiful and exceptionally special timepiece!
