I have worn this watch 10-12 hours daily for the past two weeks or more. I love the size, the color of the dial, the seconds hand, the simple strap changing system, and the overall wrist presence. This could be a solid contender for a one-watch collection for me. Quite simply — in love! One quibble is the power reserve — even wearing as noted above — the watch will stop after about two days on the wrist. Some research on the web suggests that is a common concern with this movement — perhaps the smallness of the movement and/or the rotor is uni-directional. So, I simply manually wind the movement every day or two — voila!, no stoppage.

I fully agree with you.
In my view, the Overseas is one of the great watch designs. I never felt out of place with an Overseas on my wrist, it is a very well made and hugely versatile watch.
