Vacheron Constantin Malte Grande date 42015/000j
Hi everyone,
I love the Vacheron Malte grande date and am considering treating myself to one. I am so bummed the watch has been discontinued. Does anyone know if the movement is manufactured by VC or if it is rather a JLC movement personalized for VC? More broadly, do you what movements VC manufactures in house an what not? I know they use the JLC movement from the Master Geographic on one of their model.
Tks!

I like the Malte Big Date quite a lot. It was introduced in 2000 as one of the inaugural models in the Malte collection. The VC caliber 1204 is based on an F. Piguet 1150 caliber. VC added the big date at 6 o'clock and had it chronometer certified by COSC...
