some more pictures from the Vacheron Constantin booth at SIHH.
Admittedly i?m late with these, but maybe it?s still welcome.
VC showcased the manufacturing techniques by bringing in the craftsmen (and -women), which made us meet with Anita Porchet and the enamelling/enamel painting art already.
This time it?s something which i find a particular asset of Vacheron Constantin, sceleton work and engraving.
It is interesting to see how it is done and the more so to see how much work goes into these pieces; the reports from the earlier visit in the Vacheron Constantin workshops last year do proof.
Observing how these things get to life turned out to be pretty catching and the final creation speaks for itself.
