Vacheron Constantin

Hi Chris....

The Malte collection originally consisted of the Tourbillon, Chronograph Perpetual Calendar, Dual Time, and Large Date models, and it was introduced in 2000, a couple of years before you thought it was. It expanded over the years to comprise more models. The Dual Time Regulator was very popular at that time. It was first offered in yellow and white gold, with rose following a few years later. There is a nice limited edition in rose gold with gray dial. The rose gold model lingered in production latest, making it to 2009 before it was no longer available.

Vacheron Constantin does not give out production volumes for particular model lines, so I have no way to answer that particular question.

I don't know of any online resource that has catalogs listed for collectors to review. It might be fun to seek out old VC catalogs, dealer masterliness, and advertisements on the sales forums or the Bay. A nice sideline to collecting the watches themselves.
