First Vacheron (2nd Try)
Hello again,
Some of you may remember that I purchased my first Vacheron a few months back. It was a pre-owned Retrograde date which I discovered had a blemish on the dial marker so at the advice of many more informed than me, I returned the watch to the seller for a refund.
Well, I am back and proud to announce that I have recieved a pristine WG Malte Dual Time Regulateur. What a fantastic watch! I am totally in love. The dial, while it appears stark, matte white in pictures, is the most wonderful opaline color. I happen to love the contrast of the date, and dual time sub dials with their arabic numerals and the hour dial with its Romans. The hunter case is finished beautifully. The engraving on the rear door is perfect. I can't get over the quality of the case and buckle. A true masterpiece.
At first glance, the movement is a joy to view with its gold rotor and fine finsihing detail. All in all, I am a happy FIRST time VC owner.
I look forward to being a more active member of the VC community for a long time!
