I love VC
Notwithstanding the issues I had with the repairs on my [purchased from an authorized dealer/movement was not trashed by watch repair hack] VC Power Reserve, please let me state unequivocally that:
1. I love VC. No other manufacturer comes close in terms of technical innovation and style. My next watch purchase will be the Toledo in white gold. I dream of the Malte Tourbillon, but I love my wife, and I fear I would end of in divorce court and have only supervised visits with my kids for reasons of insanity. We all know that loving the Malte Tourbillon is not insane, but the rest of the non-horologically inclined world might take issue with a watch that costs $100K.
2. I enjoy this forum which is so hospitable and gracious to its participants.
3. I am thrilled to have received the book from VC, which only buttresses the above two points.
