Wow!

Neil, first of all, sorry for your loss and welcome to the forum. Like Bill, I can't believe what I'm seeing. And it's in such gorgeous shape! I'm no vintage fan, but that one definitely is a true gem. I imagine that I would have the movement serviced, but leave the dial and case original. And I would wear it on a few special occasions.

Thanks, its been in the drawer for years, belonged to a great uncle I am told, now its mine but I will be actively selling it, it needs to go to a good home, ideally VC themselves.

VC already has one!

This piece is currently in their collection, and it certainly confirms the authenticity of yours. Photo from The Hour Lounge....

Wow! What a treasure!

Love the 1921 vintage and current. I agree with the others here -- send to VC for service to the movement and authentication, but don't touch the dial, hands or case if possible. Best, respo

Don't restore it!!!

It's such a beaut as it is. Whether for own use or estate sale, keeping it original retains it's full flavor and history. Yours enviously, Horo

Awesome!!!
