Service for Vacheron on the West Coast?
Hello all....it has been a looong time since I posted on the board...used to be fairly regular back in the day, but life's changing tides have pulled me out of the watch world for a bit. So much so that I have even had my two Vacheron's sitting idle in my vault for a couple of years now.
That said, I'm ready to get them out an running again...at least one of them. Does anyone know of any very good and very reputable independent watchmakers in California....either in SF, LA, Sac or Central coast areas? Or, is the only option to send it to VC authorized service...I assume still in NYC? If so, anyone have their contact info handy? For speed and cost, I would love to use an independent, but know ones you can trust with high grade watches are few and far between. The two watches I am talking about are my Malte Grand Classique and my Les Historique chrono (and that would be the one I would do first probably).
