I can't ever use a stapler without thinking about this watch: Why? Because the back was engraved with name of an employee of the Swingline Company on his having served twenty-five years with them! (Some gift!) It was the only time I have ever purchased so...

Funny how there appears to be a few Purists with this watch. It's really nice to see so many reviews of vintage pieces and discussions on technicals/movements. I am not a big fan of the "coin" edge but its nice to see so many fans here to share the experi...

I really love the story and history to your watch. Did you leave the engraving intact? I think it would be wonderful to see if possible. Could you please PLEASE PLEASE show me a pic of the box and papers (So I can dream about what my watch had!). I notice...

do u think it'll break? just a thought to invoke the intricacy of making a thin watch ! i think a lot also goes into solving the tensile strength of the case for a thin watch. nice catch and wear in good health.

perfection does exists amazing condition and great story I had a Patek with an engraved back and found a jeweler in LA that was able to match the gold color and gold fill leaving no trace. Enjoy that beauty
