A travelphobic collectorholic finally takes a world class watch on vacation...
I finally did it. After years... light years... millenium to be exact... I finally took one of my finer timepieces on vacation. My new UN Acqua Perpetual LE.
Planes... luggage hangling... assorted nightmare scenearios could not stop my desire to finally take a proper piece on vacation. All at the prodding of a good friend to "just do it".
I couldn't be happier. I even went overboard by taking several pieces. Once over the brain cramp, packing was just a formality.
It's amazing what a stellar horogical masterpiece can do impressing the unenlightened. Not that I care.
I'll never travel horological impaired again.
