I hardly believe the dial is enemal since I can see some spots in the close up picture leading to paint deterioration due to age. On top of that were all those colors used on the dial available in enemal to bake? Nevertheless the watch is stunning. Looks ...

...and without me actually doing any research (!) I would say that the symbol is for knots - the alternative blue spiral tachymetre looks to be for calculating knots. It's beautiful watch R

As to find one of these, good luck... I keep my eyes open, and will tell you, as I am focusing all my efforts on an important piece ( for me ) to come at the end of this year. Best, Nicolas
