That kinds of lame because you'll get hundreds of extra yards
from the ball bouncing on the hard racing track. At least with grass, it's only an extra coupld yards.
It's like me when I hit a drive and it lands on the golf cart path. My drive gets much longer but in the wrong direction though :P

At least that's my understanding of how driving distance's measured. It includes carry and roll.

No! He not a long hitter by any means. Bubba Watson on the PGA tour is the long hitter. He has hit over 400 yards regularly. Plus the track gives you a good roll. Jack Nicklaus is a LEGEND. He was also a big hitter.

HI Ming, I am a golfer, but driving in the track is
totally different than driving in the fairway. The track is without drag unlike grasses. That can't be measured in that manner; unless commercial point of view! Nien

with the right ball and fairway condition...
the ball can roll another 10 to 20 plus yards at least. Not to mention if you are hitting down hills and downwind. My carry is about 275 yd, but I can sometimes hit 300+ yd drives, go figure. On the golf course, every little bit helps.
