I notice most of you guys bring your watches out on trips with you
Isnt there a saying, "leave all your valuables at home" when you're going for trips?
to put things into perspective:
watch value > everything else
losing your entire luggage or the shirt on your back pales in comparison to losing your watch
even getting robbed is fine as long as they leave your watch alone.
what do u think?

When traveling, it is always wise to be cautious and know your surroundings, when it comes to GTG's it is most important to follow certain security protocols. When you don't you end up with a huge potential for disaster like these guys: home.watchpros...

Who tells you I leave my watches in my luggage?
That would be the last place I would put my watches! I bring some of my watches with me only if I know that I have several possibilities to hide them in a safe place. If not, they stay in the safe at the bank. Best, Nicolas

I travel with only what I can wear on my wrist...
...and very much assess the destination in my choice of watches. I think robbery might be more of a problem for expensive well-known brands rather than those that are under the radar of most people.
I don't travel often but when I do I take only one watch.
And it is almost always something on a bracelet unless I am absolutely, absolutely sure it will not rain and there will be zero chance of me being thrown into the pool or slipping into the water myself at the pier or any such stupid moment to ruin a perfe...

You go on a trip and your house is robbed. My friend's mom went on an extended trip and did something interesting. She had an older car in her garage which didn't work; she stored many valuables in it's trunk including paintings, jewelry, family heirlooms...
I only take one watch with me.
The others in the safe at the bank. I have nothing at home. Fx
