Obviously direct competition to the Nikon 1....how do you think they compare..? I imagine very similar picture quality..? Looks good and I like the range of lenses, when will it be in shops to see..? Yours, Andy.

There's a lot of current and near future options for your replacement, it boils down to what you like in a camera. This new Canon is cool as it has a APS-C sensor. -MW

Not quite pitched at OM-D nor the PENs / GX1 as well. Quite a unique proposition. However, as a non-canon user, it has little appeal. But I still very much look forward to a review by Ming in a real world situation!

I'm a Nikon shooter too so this new Canon M probably pass on it but should be fun to try it out. I really like Canon p&s and recently picked up a Power Shot Elph 110hs comes in handy when traveling and don't have time to whip out the big dslr. -MW ...

That can push my trusty S90 for a well deserved retirement and displace my 5D classic as my walk around camera. The main point, iMHO, is the ability to use standard DSLR lenses (Canon of course). I want one. Cheers, Nilo

if the majority of the wonderful photos (u posted here) are taken with the S90 or 5D ? Either way, U can't argue with the results. But I need to know now that you have reveal the cameras u r using !

I do wrist shots with the S90 and static pics with a 5D MK II (not the 5D classic) coupled with a 100mm f/2.8L. The 5D "classic" is used for local (not traveling) walk around. Nilo
