UBR
I purchased the upper complete; hand guard came installed. I do like it - lightweight, medium diameter, looks sharp.
Magpul's UBR stocks are great. Consistent cheek weld is easy to achieve as the length of pull can be programmed for the user. The stock feels solid, also. No rattles, very nice quality. The UBR is a little heavier than many other stocks, though. I have them on many AR style rifles.
As far as optics, the rifle will be used for short to medium range shooting. But, the older I get, the more I appreciate magnification. I have been looking at Leupold Mk 4 2.5-10 or the US Optic 1-8.
