PuristSPro had its Los Angeles End-Of-Year GTG this past Monday at Gonpachi. We had an amazing turnout with the locals and even had 7 new PuristS attend! Several people were out of towners who flew in, so my hats off to them for taking some time off from ...  

the occasion! The community is wonderful; a great new annual tradition! And Anthony, the pictures only get better and better, which is amazing, considering how good they were to start with. Some of those expressions were absolutely priceless! To a great 2... 

I'm still learning flash photography and getting used to how far to stand back in relation to flash. It's difficult to gauge when the height of the ceilings at each venue is different, so that doesn't help. I've also started to adjust flash intensity w/ t... 

Thanks to all of you who made it happen. It was a happy reminder that our shared hobby is even more about people than it is about watches. Happy New Year to all of us!

I'm not ready to cover such an important date for your son/daughter's coming of age ceremony. Plus, I would need at least 2 or 3 cameras w/ different lenses of which I do not have :P Cheers, Anthony

Thanks to Ming and Anthony for organizing the event. The location was fantastic, I felt like I was in the Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill movie in the 'Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves'. It was great to see the usual Purists gang, along with meeting lots ...

It was great seeing old friends and meeting some great new ones! Here's a couple pics of the restaurant Gonpachi. The entrance is stunning and as others have noted that it resembles the setting of the movie Kill Bill. Sorry about th blurry pics! Japanese ...
