Boats, Birds and Bro's

Our early morning walk was along Mission Bay shoreline, where besides the sunup and water, we noticed 3 recurring themes. It started with a panoramic view, featuring a single character:

Varying light as the sun rose, and varying degrees of zoom.

I'd say he's heading for the open ocean.

Daylight really wakes up the green backside of his overalls

I'm standing next to the NO FISHING sign as I take this next photo

This one is for Filip

We continue the panoramic with another boat and a pair of bros

Busy talking, they ignore the wake their boat is creating

but this rower (Hudson?) in Little Eva noticed the wake and hurled a few epithets in their direction...

Coming back from the panorama now,

I noticed the Bird Man of Mission Bay and a few of his friends

"Hey dude, you have clearly mistaken me for your friend with the bird seed. I can't help you, I'm just documenting the scene."

This shot exposes one of life's unanswerable questions

Another unanswerable question: so the birds fly in seemingly random circles.

Some drop to the ground,

and 19 of them end in a perfect pattern atop a light pole. HOW??

Thanks for getting up early with us.

PS - I forgot to take the watch photo til we got home:
