My first Heuer, my first salmon dial and my smallest watch

Really like it. Always wanted a salmon dial.
It is much more legible that it looks on pictures. I was worring about the indices being the same colour but they reflect the light well. Sorry difficult to avoid light reflexion when showcasing that.
I was a bit nervous about 36 mm, but hey! It works.

It is estimated to be from 1960-(looks like it's before that to me)- I just got it as a beautiful vintage curiosity but man! it really wears well. Sometime we forget that the whole case and lug design from that time can give a lot more presence than the s...

Thanks for sharing 🍺

Not a Heuer we could see frequently in the internet, 36mm is really a good fit for many people that they may not realise about 🤔

Cheers to you- thanks

Yes, you’re right. And I don’t have a small wrist at all.

Not a huge fan of Classic watches but this dial looks fantastic.

Not looking in particular, but if one crosses my path (like that gorgeous PP) i will def think about it .

Hate to Say This, But I Doubt That This One is Authentic

I hate to say this, but I doubt that this one is authentic. Heuer acquired Leonidas in 1964; this watch clearly looks older than that; I am not aware of any co-branded watches, before or after the merger. It would be very interesting to see the movement, ...

Thanks for chipping in with your expertise OnTheDash. That’s really interesting. That’s right 1964 was the year they merged

Something must be wrong. I will check. Here is a picture of the movement. ...

Markings Do Not Look Right; Not Aware of Heuer Using Landeron 154

The markings on this movement do not look right, and I do not believe that Heuer ever used this Landeron 154 movement. I believe that this one is a fake.
