It's amazing to think...
All these people from that era are getting on in age now when such amazing things were done.
I wonder who in 40 years will pass away after being such a pioneer and being remembered in such a way? All these things were firsts and pushing mankind into space and then the moon... as we didn't go any further who will they be and what do you think they will be remembered for?

As long as we have media elevating the Kardashians or NBA players to deity, the true heroes of today will never be recognized or appreciated by the masses. I've no doubt, there are many out there. Many of them, but none that carry the courage or integrity...

associated with Col Glenn but have or had no idea what he wore. Col Glenn, Neil Armstrong, steve McQueen, Joachim Rindt and others would have all have been the same people if they had worn a whatever. It's nice that people come to understand who they were...
