Seiko

Just so happens after reviewing the recent post my son’s Seiko Discus Burger’s strap broke. Any help to get it replaced or repaired is greatly appreciated. The lugs are 20mm and between the lugs, the case has a ‘slot’ that the strap’s metal end fits into....  

.. is there Seiko AD or boutique near you? If not, you can either ship to Japan or get NATO strap and use like this. I detached the strap immediately after purchase and replaced with NATO strap.... Sorry, I wish I could be of more help, or fundamental hel...  

We just got a Grand Seiko dealer here and they’ll be having an event soon. I thought I’d take it with me but with little hope of finding an answer from GS. I thought of a nato strap but my son wants to use the deployant buckle. I’m not sure who to send it...

I think any 2mm strap would've worked out nicely as long as you fitted the bent spring bar with the strap... This kind of strap btw,,, a bit more prone to broke up at that exact same spot so I never wanted to wear that kind of strap, usual standard beauti... 

The spring bar is straight so wouldn’t need to bend it. It’s the metal piece that inserts and hugs the case, that’s the problem. A 20mm strap will work but will need to contour and follow the case and the spring bar will actually need to be placed lower, ... 

This is the watch my strap came from. See the tailored fit between lugs and case? It has a shaped insert as did yours. This strap fits perfectly on my GS snowflake. Look for one of these. Cazalea ...
