The whole watch rotates on the lower end of the case, meaning you wear it turned the way it is in the picture normally and 180 degrees rotated when using the chrono. Technically the function you are using gains prominence that way. Curious myself how well it works in practice, hence interested if anyone has experienced it - not like it is easy to see / try on one in Europe

But you can tell by looking at the dial that they rotated some of the functions in the movement, so it isn't just a cosmetic shift. Mike

Yes it could be nice to try one in Europe... or at least here in Switzerland but I think it will be hard :-(

Even the Boutique in Frankfurt will be unlikely to be able to help. But I will ask when going there next

I did a post on the Seiko boutique recently. If you like unconventional the Landmaster certainly qualifies - large but somehow curiously appealing. And great for climbing Mount Everest
