How will most Grand Seiko fans view this watch 5 years from now or when it stops production?
Do you think Grand Seiko is overstepping on this watch in terms of price point, metal choice etc... ? In other words, do people who follow the brand closely think the platinum 8 day is more of a novelty or is this watch Grand Seiko's attempt to take one step away from the value for money label and one step towards becoming a legit luxury brand? Does anyone know how many they plan to make? As a far as I can tell, it's not a limited run.
