I think it is true of many vintage watches, but their "past lives" show through and give the watch a really strong personality. Especially strong on the Tudors i think. Good pics.

Improvement in water resistance and shock proof. While a better shock proof is evident, the better water resistance is less evident. The screw in crown was a real improvement, but the crownguard? Best, Nicolas
