I have owned both a RG RM005 and a Ti RM005 and personally prefer the Ti because it is unbelievably light and the RG is heavy and so prone to scratching. Do not get me wrong, the RG is beautiful/stunning, but simply a lot more maintenance.
The amount of gold on the watch is not that much to warrant a huge increase in price. You are paying more for the brand name and the work involved in making such great timepieces. At this level, it is more about horology than precious metals.
