The interrogation room.

A display set from an old HK police movie. I wasn't sure I would be able to get decent shots as the room was very dimly lit. The M10 and 50 Apo did a good job IMO. 1/45sec f2 iso 10000 1/90s . f2 . iso 10000 1/30s f4 . iso 10000 All hand held. Thanks for ...

I like how the room in the first image looks like a mockup. Thanks for sharing, Vte

It is a mock up.

In an actual police station that has become a museum.

Good combination

of M10 + 50 APO. Shows what the 50 APO can do in low light settings and the signature bokeh that the lens can bring about. It also adds nicely to the moody kind of sinister vibe of the interrogation room. I really like the mood portrayed. Jeff

Yes I'm quite happy with the combo. :)

Very versatile and compact unlike the Noctilux The Apo has the uncanny ability to capture what you see. Thanks for the compliment Jeff! Best fernando

Wonderful! Somehow ...

... if prefer the colour pic #2 over the black and white #3 with a different content (phone vs. notebook). In both pictures, however, I think focussing on the "suspect's" pictures would have transported the message better than the "sharp" pencil. The lens...

I was lazy and the place was dark...

focusing on the pencils was easier, plus I really did not want to incriminate the suspects. The lens is pretty much stuck on the M10. Thanks Marcus! cheers fernando

Yes sir!

The camera and lens did just fine. I have a feeling you had something to do with the quality as well.

Steady hands of yours

The red is a nice touch... as well the walls and furniture. Set design at a high level... With the second and final photo I notice your use of DOF (f/2 vs. f/4). The shorter DOF blurs the name and mug shot certainly grabs more attention. I like the color,...

Thanks Casey!

Welcome back! Hope you had a great trip and looking forward to your photos in due course. Here's the last pic. in colour for comparison. Best fernando ...

Interesting... I like that the phone is included.

At first I thought that the pen was not period correct, so I checked. The "BIC Cristal" ball point pen was produced and sold by Société Bic of Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine, France starting from December 1950. So the time frame is accurate if the movie was set i...

I recall such phones but...

I recently saw a video showing today's kids have no idea how to use one. Thanks for checking but I would assume everything is period correct and authentic. cheers fernando
