The 2020 Olympics celebrated in 2021 and a Monday holiday occurring on a Thursday... the holiday calendar arranged in order to allow people to attend events not open to the public... It's all very strange, but as a result we have a four day weekend... Bac...

...they were so different...Golden Week, Children's Day, Respect for the Aged...very interesting, and Japanese street festivals are always fun : )

Now that I am retired I tend to not pay as much attention to the holidays as well the weekends... accept to avoid public areas... Casey

...but back in the day they were a lot of fun...free-flowing beer, yakitori, and pretty girls...not terrible : )
