Buying and registering a second hand Patek
I am considering buying a second hand Patek (5296) from a local non-AD comission seller of used watches. The watch comes with a full paper trail. Does buying a used Patek hinder me from registering the watch with Patek Philippe in my name? I presume it's already registered by the previous owner.
Thanks in advance.

I have done this a couple of times. I just register the watch on the Patek website. I have never received any correspondence back about the watch already being registered nor have I been asked to prove that I am in posession of the watch I'm registering ....
