I have both watches and would certainly also take the 5960 if could have but one.

Looks like 5960 is the one the forum would buy first. I understand--it is platinum and maybe harder to find than 5980--and perhaps more 'Patek' in the sense that it is a dress watch and has a beautiful Calatrava style case... I got some thinking to do!
