Like you, my next generation does not seems to care about mechanical watches.
I used to think this one is for my daughter, that one is
for her future husband and this one is for my son, etc ... but now I think it is better if they will be able get what they want on their own when they grow up.

I was at a dealer a few months ago and a man walked in with a 1970-ish Omega Seamaster whom he claimed was from his dad (clearly a safe queen). His dad had passed on and son decided that watch is too gaudy and decided to sell... oh well, so much for good ...
