Yup, I think this watch is truly unloved for all the wrong reasons. A lot of people feel it is too small but if you are used o wearing vintage , the size is perfect.

Thanks for a thought-provoking post Julian, and for making a good case for this beautiful and less hyped Nautilus version...I have several friends (mainly with smaller wrists) who own and greatly enjoy a 3800, with good reason IMO! ;-) Cheers.

Me too. Not that I ever had the chance to get a 5711 - actually not true . Got offered on with white dial about a year ago and passed

I agree 100%. I cut loose a 5726 a while back and don't miss it. (If I only knew) I own a 3800 and I think it is "THE" Nautilus.

I think it is a great reference and looks awesome on you. I have a small wrist as well snd even though I wear the more modern and larger references, I really think the 3800 reference and 5800 reference would also look great for my wrist size 👍
