Why no antireflecting coating ?

 

This is one thing that I do not really like about Pateks:  nearly all are difficult to read as the saphire reflects too much.

With Pateks it has to be a very distinctive combination, like blue and gold, grey and gold or simple white and gold in order to be legible.

Your 5135 G is a good example and the 5146 G also for, let us say: impaired legibility.

Lange is much better in that specific point: very, very legible.

The usage of an antireflecting coating outside on the glas is a (growing) concern though ...
