I'm sorry to hear about your stolen watch but to maintain a database would not be possible for any enthusiast site. It may seem like a simple task but think about what is needed to maintain such a database: correspond with the owner and cooperation with the manufacture, verify police records, updating records, etc... it would be a full time job. Besides, who would allocate funds for this?
I recommend that you store all valuable items in a safe and secure place (vault,home safe, security deposit box, etc..) when you are not wearing the item. Also insuring the items is a good idea.

Stolen watch database on Purist Forum would work against the rightful owner
If sites like the Purist had a list of stolen watches, I think it would lower the chance of the watch every being returned to the owner. I may have passed hands many times and if the new owner happens to find out his watch is a stolen one, he will be care...

As Ming and DJE explained, its not possible. Besides why would Puristspro want to be involved in a criminal case? Sorry but if you let a stranger in your house and he steals your valuable watch and the police does nothing, than man up and accept the loss....

Of course it becomes a criminal case as something was stolen. As DJE stated Puristspro is not the police nor the service center. What would you propose for them to do?
