It is unlikely for the 5970 to be available in platinum in the near future. The closest solution for you will be getting a 5971P. That is more dressy as it has diamonds on the crown which some people hate. It has the same movement as the 5970 and has a good design in the dial except for the jewels. Take a look at it and see if that is an alternative for you.
