hi all, my white gold nautilus is getting these odd black marks across the bezel and on parts of the strap ... anyone else having similar issues ? ...  

A guy on the rolexforums reported similar issues in 2019 or 2020. His 5711 developed recurring brown spots like rust on both sides of the bracelet exactly where the pins are covered up with metal on the non-removable links. In the end he got a new watch f... 

.. there is no change in texture of the metal ..looks almost like how a cigarette burn would look ... super weird !

The service Centre called and said they are sending the piece back to HQ … will update this tread when I hear back from them …

They did not comment.. said “best to send it back”

Looks Brand new but no reason given… All the said was it was also serviced while in Geneva … Anyway, am thrilled it’s back on my wrist !

Do you think you got a new bracelet ?

Didn’t mention it but am guessing it must have been - either that or they put the movement into an entirely new case … it really does look absolutely brand new !

I wouldn't have been happy if the fix was to polish the watch so it it would be worth asking unless that doesn't bother you?
