Very happy to wear her fathers watch! I converted a 1950's Pink gold Longines in a ladies watch and it looks just great ! Best Stefan

Don't really see this reference often. Which makes me think there are probably very few female Patek owners. There is only 1 lady minute repeater watch vs probably 8 (or more) others for male. The mother of pearl dial makes it very endearing for the lady.... 

I will check it again. Actually the moon phase was set by the staff at the AD...need to check nevertheless . Stefan

something left to the owner to set; I feel. The AD would not be point precise with setting the moonphase because they would need a reference. That is if they are wearing a Patek themselves and can refer. Toy with it. It's a beautiful complication to have....

Nice that PP makes so beautiful timepieces. After all there is no reason than we can enjoy wearing these beauties and then feel disappointed to see quartz movement watches when looking at the wrist of our wife / daughters. You made a very good choice, con...

This watch makes an excellent timepiece for your wife (lovely MOP dial, bling bling, and useful AC function) and a superb heirloom to your daughter (timeless design + all the good things mentioned). Have fun repeating the same for you and your son !! Chee... 

...i am contemplating a AP ROO Dual Time or a Nautilus 5712 in steel. I think steel is more wearable for a young man than a gold piece Any advise or views? regards Stefan

... subject to your personal and family preference / requirements Firstly, since this male watch is "yours" until it becomes an heirloom to your son, you need to love it yourself. So does the Nautilus or AP ROO sing to your heart ?? Second, when it comes ... 

hard choices...the problem really is that both the RO and the Nautilus speak to my heart. But you made a good point, another AC for my son (and for me fist of all) from Patek would be a nice idea. They make the AC as Ref. 5726, but I like the 5712 better.... 

...the process is extremely enjoyable !! 5712 is a good choice but a different style than your wife's. For my hunt for an AC, it came down to 5205 and 5396. For me, 5205 is more stylish and more contemporary, whereas 5396 is a classic and has more Patek C...
