While visiting the Patek Philippe Museum , I was surprised to discover this 1939 ref. 1401 with a dial signed " Grogan Co. " at 6 o'clock. While doing some research , I discovered that it was the Grogan Jewelry Company , from Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , f...  

but is from Pittsburgh, enjoyed this greatly after I showed it to her. Great stuff as always.😊

It is a very cool city with lots of personality and culture. Probably not on many people’s places to go list but is truly a great place.

I really need to discover more of the United States as I’ve been there only once a very long time ago, in California and Arizona: I still have so much to discover…

Been to some more states but far away from all 50. And just like in most large countries the differences are astounding - rural Texas looks like another planet when compared to say the East Coast. Not in the sense of better or worse, just very different.

and I'd like to explore some of its diversity, for example by taking a road trip from east to west (or vice versa).

I would probably take a tad more than the Gumball 60 hours or so for it, though 😂

and ideally 1,5 month!

I really like the movable lugs case a lot, it is beautifully engineered, I would buy one if they made something similar now, also the caliber in it, so beautiful with those effortless and clean inner angles and those wonderful wolfe’s teeth gears.

I also find the movable lugs design very interesting and would love to see how it fits on the wrist. The caliber is very appealing too, no doubt: it should just be shaped instead of round, imo. Best, Emmanuel
