of view has the greatest effect on the colour of the dial, that's right.
For seeing a 5565 in the metal - well, I think you would have to go to Geneva (they might still have some), or meet one of us lucky owners ;-)

It is the most beautiful contemporary calatrava imho - get one if you can!

What do you think? What is a "good" number for a limited time piece? 100? 300? 500? 1000?

I put my name down for one but was eventually told by the Geneva boutique that I did not get one. Can any one tell me where I can get one on the second hand market? I am particularly interested as the movement dates from 1959, my birth year.

wondering how come it takes so long for the actual owners of 5565 to show us a few photos of this stunning timepiece. I believe that it is very hard to capture the true beauty of this one (similar to photo 3712...). I think the reason is its highly polish...
