men wearing the lady nautilus ? only reason is because it is much smaller for those (like me) who have a small wrist... The waves are not straight on this one so can easily been identified to be a women one ......

Did you think to the old tiny nautilus, the 3800? I don't know how much is the new one (for women) but if you want a small nautilus, that is the one for you. My 2 cents; if you want some small watch, look for the GP laureato 8010, for some friends they co...

They were released with the 5711 and only made for a few years so 5800's are kind of hard to find but it's a perfect men's nautilus for smaller wrists. I very much regret selling the one I had the 38mm size was perfect for me. Tony

The wave design in the dial was meant to be on the feminine side. so for me its a no sorry.

Try it on - if it feels right, it is right. I don't think size or men/women designation for a watch is what matters. I have an old 35.5mm Speedmaster which now I suspect women wear. My wife wears the 38mm women's model which I would actually not mind wear... 

...but for me it's not THE Nautilus. There are actually many that I personally love (talking about time only ones) : 5800 or 3800 for small wrists, 3700 3710 3711 5711 for normal/larger wrists. For me the design of the ladies version is a feminine interpr... 

design for Nautilus, we would not think that it was catered for ladies'. Since we have the 5711 and other similar versions with broader hour markers and straight hour & minute hands, this reference by comparison is therefore less masculine. If you can...

As mentionned, it was indeed produced at the same time as the beginning of the 5711. It is an automatic movement (330 S C, whereas 324 S C in the 5711), visible through the see-through caseback and measuring 38.4 mm (40 mm for the 5711). It kept the 2 par...  

The construction of its case with two parts follows the original design and has more original Nautilus DNA than 5711. However, since the production run was short, perhaps its smaller size was not appreciated as much by Nautilus collectors due to it being ... 

Fashion and the current collections are one thing. But getting back to what matters and facts is a very good way to find what is right too! The 5800 is totally Nautilus, mechanical movement and great size (not too small at all), thus a perfect offer. Chee...

for your wrist.. It tends to wear smaller, as the dial is dark and the bezel is thick.. Besides its 40mm from 1 to 7, but since it's more of a square, the length and with is about 29x29 (ignoring the ears).. All the best
