Patek Philippe

That's an excellent remark, Justin. It is quite impressive especially for Omega, given the huge volume of their production. I was just surprised about ALS, since it's a *very* different company after the Nineties...

So I looked it up on their site and indeed, and at least officially, they only guarantee servicing of the new timepieces:

"All Lange watch models built since the company was re-established in 1990 are serviced and repaired by us."

In any case, this is an important and commendable form of service that these brands offer --- when we buy a good watch we also buy a piece of history, thus promising its serviceability into the future is the proper commitment that, in my view, any brand should make smile

Enjoy.
