Thanks for the Nautilus strap swap lesson !
Very informative, thanks! Good to hear the swapping isn't too much work. By looking at the top of the watch I was concerned it might be difficult to put back the bar properly so the screw can be placed properly. Probably pretty easy to screw it in wrong and damage the threading.
Sorry to hear it's not very comfortable, I must say it doesn't look that great either. Maybe thet should ave made a real "tropicalized" rubbery strap lok on the Aquanaut.
Not much more grip than the leather strap then ? I might try "rubbing" the inside part to see if it can be made to slide less.
My 5711G is set to position #2 which is a tad loose, but #1 is definitely too tight so I don't have to worry about swapping positions. I might pop in my local AD to ask them to punch a hole between 1 and 2, not that there is a lot of room to do that though...

I actually swapped straps a couple of days ago myself. It probably took me 5-7 minutes, it's very easy to do. Basically you take out a screw, push the bar through the strap, and take out the strap. Very easy. Just don't be afraid to give the bar a firm pu...

I am not sure about putting the bar in improperly as, from what I remember, it is smooth except in the middle where the screw goes in. Basically I was able to do it on my first try and there were no problems, so I am not sure about damaging the threading....
