Does anyone know what period Patek Philippe adopted this printing on the dial? Was it a period of time or maybe aimed within a specific geographic area? I am not sure. I have seen very few dials from the 1940-50s so suspect it is from the pre-1960 era.......
I have had look at some of my pieces but none of them say "fab suisse" Mainly swiss or nothing I suspect early 50\'s but wonder whether these dials were made for a specific market If I was at home I reckon John reardons book might have the answer Cheeers ...

......what is interesting to me is that i can see few, if any, in the early 1950s. But this watch is from the early 1950s. Further, I can see watches dating from before and after that do not have the same marking....which makes me think Julian is correct....
but if i remember correctly the latest one i can recall is from the mid 60´s. i saw it at an auction, need to double check it. Let you know if i can give more detail information. Best Heimo
