And, can somebody tell why the black dial is lacquer rather than enamal? Is it because black enamal dial is very difficult to do, or black enamal dial is easy to crack? Thank you for your enlightenment.

Both white and black dials on the 5959 are lacquered rather than enamel, because enamel dials are too thick. Patek was looking to make this watch as thin as possible. The latest price is 440,000 Swiss Francs.
