The technique is clearly expertly executed but the quality of the artistry is awful! If that was a painting hanging on your wall you would not consider it to be a fine work of art. Patek are having a laugh on this one!
Because the artwork on this one looks like a scene
From a cowboy film. I imagine it was made for some American billionaire who is unaware that money clearly can't buy taste and only loves it because Patek made it.

i owned one of these and must admit they are absolutely magnificent. Gorgeous workmanship. The older pieces just as the one in your photo are much nicer than the current versions due to the more elaborate artwork.
ive never seen any of these clocks
in real life to pass judgment unfortunately , i have a friend that owns a 5131G and must admit its a stunning piece. i might be wrong on this but i think these clocks are special order pieces and that they are over $100k regards darma
