I think if you feel like this you have made the right choice....................I had the same dilemma with my head saying I needed to sell one of my 5970's but I fell deeply in love with my 5970Rg from first sight and then just had to have a 5970p.........I have tried but failed to decide between the two..........
The 5970j is a beautiful watch indeed......I hope you enjoy this masterpiece for many many years to come........

I think you made a great choice. I like the color
combination better than that of the platinum. Even though the platinum versions of everything Patek are supposedly rarer and more collectible, it doesn't mean that you have to like them better.
