but the thickness of the case is a real problem for me: something of the fluidity (the swimming manta ray) is completely lost. I will try to see both in real life someday. Truly fascinating models.
If I had to decide between the 2554 or the 5100 it would be a very tough call. The simplicity of the 2554 dial and as you say the thinner profile and subtlety of the case is very appealing. My favorite of the 5100 is the white gold. Never tried one on tho...
