Question about vintage dials
Dials all differed from reference to reference with vintage Pateks and indeed some are "raised" whilst others were not...the difference being in the manufacturing process of the dial itself.
Obviously the raised ones were particular to certain references (and time period) as mentioned so it helps to know which were supposed to be raised and notin order to tell a printed redial.
Generally the raised were from the early 1950's to the mid-60s...I.m not sure after that as I don't collect ones from after that and have not had the opportunity to handle those.
hope it helps,
Roni

Yes, Vintage Patek do come with dials carrying varying signatures. Some reference numbers came with raised signatures, while others came without this. Regards, Rishad
