Problem with new 5036

I purchased my gold 5036 on May 6th of this year, put it on my wrist and that is where it has stayed.

I travel constantly and am also an avid golfer and have not removed the watch when playing golf or traveling.

The power meter looks fully charged and has been for the last month.

Last week the watch dropped 15 mins day one and the next day it stopped. I wound it manfully it worked for a day. Then it stopped at right after midnight. This continues to happen every day.

I am told that I may have the watch over charged, and that I need to rest it?

I had it in the box for 2 days and it appears to be fine and is keeping time .

My option is to send it to the factory and this will be a 4 ? 6 month time frame.

I read a post where there was a comment on damaged gearing on the 5036, is that possible with daily wear and tear in 6 months.

I really like the watch, my previous watch was a Rolex Daytona which is fairly rugged and I was hopping that the 5036 would be a good upgrade.

Any opinions or help on this issue would be appreciated.
