But with a smooth bezel, that would be a different game... Wait, you will tell me that there is the 5140 for me.... Maybe, maybe... But there is a 2d flaw, which is a true No Go for me... The fact that Patek used the Cal 240, which we already see in a sim... 

OK I understand, but are you sure you would say "No" if someone offers you a Celestial ? Hard to believe :-) 5139 vs 5140 - prefer the hands of the first one. Thanks! Oliver

The clous de Paris bezel doesn't work IMHO in a complicated watch context. I like with with a 3 hands watch but not here. And believe me, it is a true "no go" for me. Fx ...

This watch sings to me more than any watch in Patek's lineup. Looks very simple, hiding a treasure. I love it.

Oliver, its a great watch indeed, the only thing which stopped me from purchas was hobnail bezel... Maybe i need another decade of years to accept this design and it will grow on me... Not sure for now. Also, i sudpect that hobnail bezel is scratches magn...

Which came to my mind is the personality connection... I can imagine this watch on the wrist of the person from artistic Bohemia or painter. Quite subjective opinion for sure :)

I know the hobnail pattern is not everyone's favorite. I have a 3919G were the hobnail looks classic. I myself was skeptical about the 5139G-001 as I own a 5140G-001, but after seeing the 5139G-010 in person several times, I decided to purchase this truly... 

my view that the 5139G is a very nice and special watch. At least one :-) Oliver

And yes: I would consider it if a pp calendar would be in my reach. What I like most about this watch is the different design infleunces: the markers are Bauhaus, the hands are like from the 20ies or so and the very recently introduced Clous de Paris elem...
